Dave's Own Domain

Ok, so for those of you who don't already know. I purchased my own domain from GoDaddy.com . . . it's pc-dave.net . . . there isn't anything there yet but a dummy page put up by my friend John. I purchased the domain for less than 10 bux for a whole year . . . thats way kewl . . and John set me up with hosting . . . I want to try and set up the hosting myself sometime . . . but I'll work on that later . . . anyways . . I should be posting my own front page in the next couple of days to replace the dummy page that John made. well thats all for now . . . check back later for updates . . . LOL . . . later . . .

Season Finale . . . .

Alrighty . . . so here it is . . . American Idol comes to an end . . . Carrie Underwood and Bo Bice . . . one of them is going to be the next American Idol . . . . in other news I created a Forum today . . . it was really easy . . . Nat wanted me to make it directly linked to my Tripod site . . . that I didnt get done . . . but oh well . . . the forum is up and ready . . . . well on my days off . . . Ok Whats New . . .

Well to start off I got to see Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith . . . Its kewl . . . it covered all the major points one would expect to see in the movie . . . we get to see the conversion of Anakin to Vader . . . and the birth of the twins . . . I like how they used old looking technologys with the new stuff to make it look seemless for the conversion between the first 3 movies and the new ones . . . not bad . . . . last week I picked up a couple of new Maxtor 200 Gig HDs . . . Staples had them on sale . . . they also had 50 packs of Staples brand DVD-R or DVD+R media for like 8 bux . . . it was awesome . . . the best part . . I can't wait to get my rebates back . . . that will be awesome . . . and next week we will have a new American Idol . . . only 2 contestants are left . . . E3 ended today . . . Sony unveiled the PS3 . . . not only will the PS3 feature a cell processor . . . but also 2 NVidia powered graphics cards . . . and on top of that it will be a Blue Ray DVD player too . . . and lets not forget it will play all PS1 and PS2 games . . . all 13,000 of them . . . its due to drop in 2006 . . . Microsoft also displayed its next gen gaming console . . . the XBox 360 . . . . it will feature 512 Megs of system ram . . . . will feature an ATI video card . . . comes out of the box with 802.11g wireless compatability . . . . wireless controlers . . . we should expect to see XBox 360 around the holiday season later this year . . . 4th quarter of 2005 . . . and last but not least we can not forget Nintendo . . . . the Revolution is coming . . . it promises to be compact . . . and have be able to download any previous titles for any of the Nintendo brand systems . . . this is gonna be totally awesome . . . well for now thats all I got . . . My Days Off . . .

Ok my first day off last week . . . I slept all day . . . nothing interesting there . . . . but on Tuesday . . . . I got to hang out with my sisters kids . . . . they came over to my house while she was @ work . . . . I fixed Spagetti for dinner . . . . still have a lil bit of it leftover . . . . We watched Fat Albert . . . . it was a good movie . . . and they played on my PS2 . . . . it keeps them busy . . . Cassi played the Sims . . . then they all took turns battling each other on Virtual Fighter 4 . . . Also I got my laundry done that day . . . Last nite on American Idol Anthony got sent home . . . . Carrie was almost cryin' when he got sent home . . . Last nite wasnt that bad @ work . . . it was actually alright . . . I worked aisle 7 . . . the Juice aisle . . . by the end of the nite . . . it all looked alright . . . I had a couple of empties . . . but I had filled up alot of stuff too . . . . . today I helped Nat again with her Math(for a little bit), I was pretty tired when I got home this morning and was helping her . . . . I just hope shes doin' alright . . . we are tryin' to raise her grade to @ least a C . . . I also called up my credit cards and negotiated with them about my APRs . . . I transfered most of my balances to BofA . . . . they are kewl . . . then Im gonna transfer everything to Capital One . . . who is awesome . . . . they are offering me a 2.99 percent APR on balance transfers . . . so Im gonna consolidate and transfer to them . . . . I mowed the lawn again today . . . hooray . . . I got PS2 Game . . . Enter the Matrix . . . . I also picked up a membership @ Gamestop . . . they are kewl . . . I got a new phone w/ an answering machine today . . . . hooray for me . . . well I have to get ready for work soon . . . . until next time I post . . . later . . . .

Anyways . . . since last week . . . I've picked up an awesome game called Guild Wars . . . its an online RPG . . . its way kewl . . . this week on Idol . . . Scott got sent home . . . hey I just paid rent today . . . and also when I picked up GW the other day I got a paper shredder from Staples . . . great place to shop . . . I ordered some more software for my PS2 the other day too . . . did you know they make a kit for the PS2 that makes it into a Linux Computer system . . . however they do not sell the kits here in the US anymore . . . . . anyways . . . The OC is on . . . and its storming outside . . . so for now . . . . . I think its probably a good idea for me to go . . .
