Weekend News . . .

Ok so my weekend started pretty much on my friday . . . this woman I met online dropped in at my work to say hello . . . it was kewl . . . not very often I get people drop by at work . . . so after taking my friend (Isaiah) to the airport yesterday I was supposed to hang out with Lisa (the woman I met online). However, I was so freaking tired yesterday I just crashed when I got home from Boise. . . I was hoping to hang with Lisa today . . but she was at work for most of the day and I havent heard from her yet . . . I wrote her . . but still no answer yet . . . oh well . . . can't say I didnt try . . . I hope she's not mad at me or anything . . . Ok so yesterday . . . lots of fun . . like the title says . . . Im gonna be posting pictures of my adventures from yesterday on my MoBlog . . . anyways . . . yesterday I decided I wanted to start Spring Cleaning . . . starting with my yard . . . I went outside to start up the mower . . . unfortunately for me . . sitting outside all year . . it didnt want to start up . . . I called up my dad to let him know it wasnt working . . he said hed work on it today . . check the spark plug and clean it . . . and work on the mower . . . so anyways . . . yesterday . . . We(My Family and I) went to the park . . this was fun . . . we fed the geese and the ducks . . and went for a walk . . when I got home I had only about an hr and a half before work . . . what did I do . . I didnt rest . . . I went right to work rearanging furniture and moving it so I could vaccuum the living room . . . it looks so much better now . . . I was so tired last nite though at work . . . Today I went out to check if the mower was working. . . my dad didnt get a chance to work on it yet . . . but I got to borrow my brothers mower that started up on the first try . . . I mowed his lawn and myne . . he came over and used the weed eater to cut back the edges for me . . that was kewl of him . . . well anyways . . . Ok so here is yesterdays story about Katie Couric leaving the Today Show . . . its official . . . she'll be leaving at the end of May . . . she's moving over to CBS . . . to host the CBS Nightly News . . . this is all good . . although it would be nice to find out whos gonna be replacing her on the Today show . . I'll miss Katie . . It just wont be the same without her . . . anyways . . . last nite was the results show for American Idol . . . and they voted off Mandisa . . . I voted for Kelly Pickler, Paris, Katharine Mc Phee, and Buckey Covington . . . he kinda grew on me . . didnt much like him at the beginning of the season . . but he did really well singing a country song . . . Him and Kelly Pickler did the best . . . well anyways . . . to my disappointment . . . I missed recording Heist last nite . . . do to a time schedule shift . . . used to be that Idol was on before Heist so I could record them both on TiVo . . . now they overlap and I can only record one . . . that sux . . I hate it . . Im willing to be its becuz of some kinda Neilson Ratings scam too . . . they are probably trying to find out who watches what and who gets more viewers . . . My Days Off . . . .

Well to start off . . . I'll start with my Friday . . since thats where my weekend started . . . I havent written anything since then . . . . Ok on that Friday, before I went to work that nite . . . I just so happened to be on one of my IM clients . . . on my list of friends, suddenly someone comes up that I havent talked to in a long time . . . when I start a conversation with that person they keep asking me if I know who they are . . . sadly its been so long I dont remember them . . . then they turn around and tell me they are Paris, by Paris they are reffering I assume to Paris Hilton since that is what the Icon next to their screen name was showing . . . I was in shock . . . I wrote back and said "For Realz, You are Paris Hilton" . . . then they signed off and I havent heard from them since . . oh well who knows it could have been her . . but in reality it could have just as easily been someone impersonating her . . . after all this is the internet . . . without seeing live video of her . . I wouldnt believe it anyways . . . well now that I've told that little story . . . on to my weekend . . . Monday nite line up on NBC was Deal or No Deal, followed by The Apprentice, and then a replay of the Pilot episode of Heist . . . Tuesday morning all over the news, and by that I mean on Fox News, was the Protest in France. This is because the french government passed a new law allowing employers to fire anyone under 26 for no reason at all . . . oh I forgot to mention I got an e-mail from Julia, a girl I met on the internet that lives in Russia . . . its so awesome to get e-mail from her . . . oh in other news . . my mom is finally gonna be getting a computer . . . I'll be able to send her pictures and e-mail her . . . and she can finally see some of the stuff I do online . . . that will be nice . . . yesterday I took the time to call just about everybody in my contact list on my cell phone . . that was kewl . . got to talk to alot of family . . . and a few friends . . . Today I uploaded a bunch of pictures to my MoBlog that I took yesterday . . .

First off I went to Staples . . . had to make a copy of a mail in rebate form . . . picked up some DVD-R's while I was there and a couple of magazines . . . only to find out that one of the magazines I picked up I already had @ home . . . sux for me . . Im gonna see if I can take it back . . . Last nite I watched Deal or No Deal . . . awesome show . . . I still think the one guy should have taken the 76,000 and left . . but he ended up with only 8 bux by the end of the game . . . the other lady didnt do much better she got 50 bux but still that wasnt very much when you could win a million . . . but thats how the game goes . . after that was Law and Order: SVU . . . good show I have to say . . . never really watched it before . . . but last nite was good . . . then was Conviction . . . thats a good show too . . . after that I had to get ready for work . . . I spent about 2 hrs this morning tryin' to clean up my Yahoo e-mail . . . too much spam and junkmail . . . wish there was an easier way to eliminate it all . . . Talked to Isaiah last nite . . hes gonna look into seein' if Cingular has a partner provider in this area for me . . . talked to Terri this morning . . . shes kewl . . . It's gonna be Korina's b-day in 8 Days . . . Today's Update . . .

Ok, I'll start off by going over my day off yesterday . . . I watched a movie my brother brought over on DVD . . it was Shawn of the Dead . . . man that movie is funny . . . Last nite, Monday nite . . . is a pretty nite for NBC . . their line up includes Deal or No Deal, The Apprentice(Which is in season 5 now I think), and Medium . . . I have TiVo'd all those programs so I can watch them @ my convience . . . Other than watching that movie yesterday I pretty much slept all day . . . This morning I was up early . . . I pretty much stayed up all nite last nite . . . first listening to Loveline . . then playin' with my computer in the living room . . . Earlier today I watched UltraViolet . . . awesome movie . . . yet another Vampire movie I'll eventually own . . . I went to Mc D's again today . . . seems that they aren't accepting debit or credit again . . what a pain in the ass . . . oh well their loss not myne . . . instead I ate @ Subway . . . I worked on my network earlier today . . and downloaded Mandriva not to long ago . . . gonna try it as soon as this post is done . . . Long Time Since Last Post . . .

Well its been awhile . . . since my last post . . the Winter Olympics have come and gone . . . Looks like the Japanese girl won in the Womens Ice Skating Competition . . . she did well . . Sasha Cohen got the Silver . . and Irina Slutskaya got the Bronze . . . they all did really well . . . although my favorites had to be both Kimmie Miessner and Emily Hughes . . . Well American Idol is now on Season 5 and the competition is getting good . . . I havent yet voted but soon will . . . I got my taxes back a couple of weeks ago this is good . . . I can pay off some of my credit card debt with them . . . I got back my federal Im still waiting on state . . . I used 70 bux out of it to buy me a DVD player with an HDMI output . . . its an upconverter player . . . the best you can get for now until the HD DVD players come out . . . of course Im still waiting for the HVDs to come out . . . those will blow away both HD DVD and Blu-Ray altogether . . . There are currently 2 movies I want to go see . . . UltraViolet . . . that movie came out on Friday . . . and V for Vendetta . . . that looks like it will be a good movie . . . Ok Super Crazy Long Post . . . .

Ok so this post is long overdue . . . Since I've been to Denver and back . . . I finally got to meet Isaiahs wife Helena . . . shes kewl . . . . Isaiah and her both work @ Radioshack . . . . they recently celebrated their 2 yr aniversary . . . for free, no kidding . . . they stayed @ a hotel that had a 100 percent satisfaction guarantee . . . and they messed up on the breakfast . . . so Isaiah and Helena were comped for the whole nites stay . . . anyways . . . . I had alot of fun there in Denver . . . I won a couple hundred bux that I spent while I was there on food, gas, and entertainment . . . of course I brought my own movies and games to play and watch . . . we also rented a kewl movie . . . The Game . . . that movies a Dave movie as it really makes you start to think about things . . . I left a couple of my DVDs there with Isaiah . . . and also left Kingdom Hearts for the PS2 there for Him and Helena to play . . . although I think Isaiahs favorite game to play while I was there was Soul Calibur 2 . . . I went to this place called Fat City . . . it was awesome . . . I went there with Helena . . . . we played like 5 rounds of Bowling . . . for only a couple of dollars a game . . . it was kewl . . . and the arcade there was awesome . . . it made me miss my old job in the arcade . . . . also I spent time with Isaiahs neighbor . . . Patricia . . . Isaiah kinda despises me for this . . . cuz one day I took off with her . . . cuz he didnt want to do anything . . . I cant say I dont blame him . . . its kinda my fault . . . I kinda had a crush on Patricia . . . . she had a wonderful 3 yr old son . . . and during my stay @ Isaiahs . . . she had another baby . . . she was only in the hospital for like 30 mins or so . . . man can she pop out a baby . . . lol . . . . anyways . . . . one day me and her and her 3 yr old son . . . went around Denver . . . we went to a mall and also a place called Nickel City . . . a nickel arcade . . . it was fun . . .
well this was all back in August around Isaiahs b-day . . . . a couple of months later . . . fast forward to October . . . and its my moms b-day . . . and we are @ Grandpas . . . I had so much time visiting my Grandpa and Aunt and Cousins in Gresham . . . I got to ride the Monorail/Train . . . it was fun . . . its a great way to get around Portland . . . I got to check out Lloyd Center and Clackamas Mall . . . they are huge . . . . I even got to check out a Fred Meyers . . . since I had never been in one before . . . it was alright . . . not too impressive though . . . my store has all the same stuff . . . . anyways coming home from PDX . . . they practically strip searched me . . . Oh yeah . . . btw . . . I got a new laptop not too long ago . . . In fact Im writing this whole thing up on it . . . . I took it w/ me to Portland . . . Teddy . . . my cousin . . . had alot of fun w/ it . . . He also had too much fun w/ my Digital Recording Camera . . . he accidentally broke that . . . . its ok though . . . I got it fixed . . . needless to say . . . I didnt let him use my stuff after that though . . . I figured out how to wire my cell phone to my laptop and get internet anywhere I go . . . . and @ nite time its free . . . Andy . . my other cousin enjoyed using the internet on my laptop cuz it gets connected @ speeds almost double what dial up is . . . 115 Kbps . . . which is much faster than what they have . . . oh yeah . . . I forgot to mention that b4 I went to Portland I had my buddy Adam fly up here to visit me and my bro and dad . . . . we had fun while he was here . . . argued a lil bit . . but no big . . . . Adam got some awesome books . . . so did I . . . lol . . . We went to Primos Pizza . . for all you can eat a few times . . . Adam liked that cuz it was cheap . . . . food here is cheaper too . . . and so is the water . . . or rather bottled water . . . he like it here cuz its cheaper to live . . . . alas he had to go home after spending a week up here though . . . I remember one day we played BurnOut 3 Takedown for like 6 hrs straight . . . . it was awesome . . . and then one time there was a blackout while he was up here . . . I was like . . bored . . . and wanted to build a back up power system . . . my dad had power though . . . he always does . . . Adam just was like . . I'll read a book . . . . now to fast forward to the present . . . its one day b4 halloween . . . I have tomorrow off . . . Im gonna go take the kiddos trick or treating tomorrow . . . that will be fun . . . I work now in Hardware . . on the GM side of the store . . . after 2 yrs of working in grocery I can finally learn something new . . . . Overdue post . . .

Ok so here's whats new in a nutshell . . . basically Dave finally got a Cell Phone . . . its a Motorola V710 . . . and my service provider is Verizon . . . they are kewl . . . . My only gripe . . . they disable half of the cool functions of my phone and if I want to use them I have to pay to use them . . . oh well . . . also as soon as I got my phone it was outdated . . . I want the E815 model . . . cuz its broadband capable and my V710 isnt . . . too bad Im stuck on a 2 yr contract . . . oh well . . . . I got all kinds of kewl accessories for it . . . a 256 Meg Trans-Flash card . . . man that thing is micro . . . . I pay 40 bux a month for 450 minutes of air time . . . . thats not so bad . . . i got a couple of extra features on my phone . . . I pay 5 bux extra for mobile interent access . . . its kewl . . . I can look up stuff like weather and news and check my e-mail from my phone . . . . I bought the USB cable for my phone . . . . and a USB bluetooth dongle . . . so my phone can talk to my computer . . . . I finally figured out how to play movie files on my phone . . . or rather I figured out how to convert movies to files my phone can play back . . . its kewl I got a couple of music videos now on my Trans-Flash card . . . and I'll be adding some TV shows on it . . . . I want to get another T-Flash card . . . that would be awesome . . . . . anyways . . . . Im done talking about my phone . . . . and thats what all is new . . . later . . . . Daves Day . . . .

So I had a great 4th of July . . . . considering I had that day off . . . it was awesome . . . got to spend time with the family . . . and see the fireworks @ Farewell Bend . . . . nice display of fireworks . . . however they are kinda pale in comparison to Tahoe . . . oh well . . Im just spoiled . . . I know its been awhile since my last post . . . so whats everyone think about what happened this morning over in London . . . . I think it sux . . . I got a classic computer today . . for 10 bux I picked it up . . . it has Windows 3.1 on it . . . its from way back in the days . . . I picked up a couple of good Math books too . . . one is an Algebra book . . the other is a Pre Calculus book . . . I got a really good deal on them . . . both books for a buck . . . we stopped @ a Yard Sale/Fund Raiser . . . . it was for a christian summer camp thing . . . I donated my last buck . . . and my Dad picked up a chainsaw for 10 bux . . . not a bad deal on it . . . I ordered Final Fantasy for a guy that lives across the way from me . . . hes been looking for it . . . cost less than 15 bux on Ebay . . . . the original FF for Nintendo was awesome . . . I need to clean my room again sometime . . . Its such a mess . . . well for now . . . I think Im gonna go . . cant say I didnt try and update this Blog . . . LOL . . . later . . . .

My Camping Trip . . . .

I had so much fun caming . . . on my days off this last weekend . . . I got to go up camping @ Mans Creek . . . the camp site name was Justright Campsite . . . LOL . . . and you know what it was . . . Just Right that is . . . when we first got there we set up the tarps over the table . . . had to move them once . . . but it was pretty easy . . . we took up this scrap oak for burning on the campfire . . . that stuff burns hot . . . and for a long time . . . . we had marshmellow, hotdogs, and baked potatoes the first nite for dinner . . . . I crashed pretty hard that first night cuz I was really tired from bein up all nite the day b4 . . . got up the next day around 8:30 AM . . . for breakfast we had scrambled eggs and potatoes . . . . mmm . . . . they were good . . . camping makes all food taste better . . . Grandma Jan showed up around 1:00 PM . . . or maybe a lil bit after that . . . we went for a walk up the road . . . there's a well pump just up the road from our camp site . . . good water . . . nobody liked it . . . but I've had worse . . . so I liked it . . . for lunch we had chicken and brocoli . . . mmm . . . that was good . . . the kids played in the stream next to our camp site . . . . man was that water cold . . . I had to keep on applying sunscreen on the kids so that they wouldnt burn . . . my neice Amber is the worst . . . she burns really easily . . . so I kept putting on sunblock every 2 or 3 hrs on her . . . . and she was still turning pink . . . poor thing . . . I know how sunburns can hurt . . . been burned a couple of times . . . . I got a ton of pictures and alot of 2 - 3 minute video clips of the camping trip . . . . my camera was so fun to use . . . everytime I got it out the kids wanted to play with it . . . I got a couple of good pictures of me that the kids took . . . I'll post one on my website . . . that nite I cooked up some steaks . . . had a fun time tryin' to get the coals burning . .. but finally got them goin' . . . . my steaks turned out to be a lil bit rare . . . but not much . . . everyone must have liked my cooking cuz it was all gone when I was done cooking it . . . I went to bed that nite around 11PM . . . . got up agian the next day around 8:30 again . . . fire was already started . . . we had pancakes for breakfast that morning . . . . we all went for a hike in the afternoon . . . .we had a small problem with feild mice getting into our food . . . had to throw out marshmellows and bread . . . those pest made a mess out of the toilet paper too . . . tryin' to build a nest . . . those lil buggers are cute but pesky . . . I got some nice pitures of butterflies too while I was up there . . . there was alot of them . . . every day in the afternoon you would see alot of them . . . well on the 3rd day I had to pack up and get ready to come home . . cuz I had to work last nite . . . work was a pain . . . not a bad nite . . . just I didnt have any sleep from the day b4 . . . and I was extremely tired . . . . but I survived. . . . well anyways Grandma Jan brought me home . . . and the rest as they say is history . . . until next post . . . Been Awhile Since My Last Post

Hey everyone sorry its been awhile since my last post . . . I've been keeping busy these last couple of weeks . . . been spending my days off over @ my sisters house hanging out with my nieces . . . I got my niece a 128 Meg Memory Card for the Game Cube . . . she has enough memory to store as many games as she needs now . . . with 1919 blocks of memory to use she'll not fill that up soon . . . I also got her a game for the system . . . It was Mario Sunshine . . . it's funny I purchased it from GameStop . . . the first copy of the game had no scratches on it . . . but would not read in the Game Cube . . . we took it back and exchanged it and the new copy had some scratches but works fine . . . She got a game called "The Urbs" . . . its the Sims in the City . . . . anyways . . . I still haven't gotten off my butt and worked on my webpage for my domain yet . . . I turned some of the project work over to Nat . . . but she's been busy . . and it's her B-Day today . . . I watched Mr. and Mrs. Smith yesterday . . . man that movie is awesome . . . I recommend it for anyone to see . . . I also watched this other movie I rented from Blockbuster the other day . . . it was called "Thirteen" . . . man . . . that movie is intense . . . it deals with some serious issues . . . Its every parents worst nightmare . . . but I think it makes a great movie to sit down and discuss things like sex, alcohol, drugs . . . . this movie covers it all . . . I liked it so much I picked up the movie from GameStop . . . I got a couple of games with it while I was there too . . . they had a buy 2 get 1 free deal going on in the store . . . . I got me a new toy last week to play with . . . it was the last one Wal-Mart had too . . . its an all digital camcorder . . . it records to Compact Flash Memory . . . this thing is kewl I can record like 30 minutes on it no problem . . . and I can take 5 Megapixel pictures with it too . . . also this thing doubles as a webcam . . . so I got like 3 things in 1 . . . . its awesome . . . well . . . Ok, so for those of you who don't already know. I purchased my own domain from GoDaddy.com . . . it's pc-dave.net . . . there isn't anything there yet but a dummy page put up by my friend John. I purchased the domain for less than 10 bux for a whole year . . . thats way kewl . . and John set me up with hosting . . . I want to try and set up the hosting myself sometime . . . but I'll work on that later . . . anyways . . Ok Whats New . . .

Well to start off I got to see Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith . . . Its kewl . . . it covered all the major points one would expect to see in the movie . . . we get to see the conversion of Anakin to Vader . . . and the birth of the twins . . . I like how they used old looking technologys with the new stuff to make it look seemless for the conversion between the first 3 movies and the new ones . . . not bad . . . . last week I picked up a couple of new Maxtor 200 Gig HDs . . . Staples had them on sale . . . they also had 50 packs of Staples brand DVD-R or DVD+R media for like 8 bux . . . it was awesome . . . the best part . . I can't wait to get my rebates back . . . that will be awesome . . . and next week we will have a new American Idol . . . only 2 contestants are left . . . E3 ended today . . . Sony unveiled the PS3 . . . not only will the PS3 feature a cell processor . . . but also 2 NVidia powered graphics cards . . . and on top of that it will be a Blue Ray DVD player too . . . and lets not forget it will play all PS1 and PS2 games . . . all 13,000 of them . . . its due to drop in 2006 . . . Microsoft also displayed its next gen gaming console . . . the XBox 360 . . . . it will feature 512 Megs of system ram . . . . will feature an ATI video card . . . comes out of the box with 802.11g wireless compatability . . . . wireless controlers . . . we should expect to see XBox 360 around the holiday season later this year . . . 4th quarter of 2005 . . . and last but not least we can not forget Nintendo . . . . the Revolution is coming . . . it promises to be compact . . . and have be able to download any previous titles for any of the Nintendo brand systems . . . this is gonna be totally awesome . . . well for now thats all I got . . . My Days Off . . .

Ok my first day off last week . . . I slept all day . . . nothing interesting there . . . . but on Tuesday . . . . I got to hang out with my sisters kids . . . . they came over to my house while she was @ work . . . . I fixed Spagetti for dinner . . . . still have a lil bit of it leftover . . . . We watched Fat Albert . . . . it was a good movie . . . and they played on my PS2 . . . . it keeps them busy . . . Cassi played the Sims . . . then they all took turns battling each other on Virtual Fighter 4 . . . Also I got my laundry done that day . . . Last nite on American Idol Anthony got sent home . . . . Carrie was almost cryin' when he got sent home . . . Last nite wasnt that bad @ work . . . it was actually alright . . . I worked aisle 7 . . . the Juice aisle . . . by the end of the nite . . . it all looked alright . . . I had a couple of empties . . . but I had filled up alot of stuff too . . . . . today I helped Nat again with her Math(for a little bit), I was pretty tired when I got home this morning and was helping her . . . . I just hope shes doin' alright . . . we are tryin' to raise her grade to @ least a C . . . I also called up my credit cards and negotiated with them about my APRs . . . I transfered most of my balances to BofA . . . . they are kewl . . . then Im gonna transfer everything to Capital One . . . who is awesome . . . . they are offering me a 2.99 percent APR on balance transfers . . . so Im gonna consolidate and transfer to them . . . . I mowed the lawn again today . . . hooray . . . I got PS2 Game . . . Enter the Matrix . . . . I also picked up a membership @ Gamestop . . . they are kewl . . . Ok a few things today . . . they finally elected a new pope . . . its an old guy go figure . . . Today marks the 6th aniversary of the Columbine school incident and they are having trouble I guess making a memorial to the victims . . . Its Been Awhile . . . .

Well I havent posted for awhile but alot has happened . . . I'll start with explaining what happened Saturday night . . . or rather Sunday morning as I tried to leave work . . . . here's the situation . . . I've been told over and over again to work my scheduled shift at work . . . I was already running late . . . and a bale needed to be made . . . I had less than half a cart of cardboard . . . so I figured it was time to go home . . . well while I was cashing in a can at the redemption machine out front of the store JR rushes out and tells me I have to clock back in and finish my work . . . and that he was giving me a verbal . . . I told him . . . I didnt think he could talk to me that way when I was off the clock . . . and he said fine just go home and we'll talk about this in the office . . . well to cover my butt I did try and clock back in . . . as I was told . . . and the time clock would not let me . . . so I picked up a few things and waited around to see if Co-Manager Sherri might come in that day . . . I waited for about 1 hr . . . she didnt show so I went home . . . she was however there on Sunday Nite . . . so I got a chance to talk to her and tell her how worried I was that JR was going to try and get me terminated over this . . . I admitted to having made a mistake and told her I know now that the right thing to do would have been to make the bale and get rid of my cardboard and then go home . . . but I tell you what . . . from this point forward . . . I am not longer going to cut any overtime for them . . . If I stay they can pay me for it . . . anyways . . . However I did stay to help out Gary on Monday morning . . and he politely asked me to come in @ 10:45 on Wednesday night . . . I told him out of respect I stayed for him and I'll come in later cuz I appreciate him . . . unlike some others . . LOL . . . . anyways Sherri now knows what happened and so does Gary . . . I know I still am gonna have to face JR and I want William to know what happened too . . . Im goin' to ask them both how a coaching will affect my ability to move forward with the company . . . and explain to them both that I want an Career out of Walmart not just a job . . . . This incident is only a bump in the road . . . and I'll only become a better person from it . . :) . . . . I went out to breakfast the other day with my Dad . . . we went to Dennys . . . . it was kewl . . . and yesterday . . . Dad took Me, My bro, and My Sister and her kids to lunch . . . we had 2 nachos platters and 2 sampler platters . . . we went to DJs . . . my dad had a 25 dollar gift certificate from the owner . . . well 25 bux covered the whole meal . . . and we left a 5 dollar tip . . . so we all had a good meal . . later on the kidos came over to my house . . . by this time I had been up all day . . and all nite and all day again . . . so I let them play on the computer . . . or internet rather . . . and I passed out on the couch . . . well thats about all I got for right now . . .

Whats New . . .

Ok . . . I'll start off by talkin' about the other day . . . I took my PS2 back and got another 1 . . . this 1 works . . . Im so happy . . . after that I went over to my sister's place to visit her kids . . . . from there we played on the trampoline for awhile . . . after that we had to clean out the car . . man was it a mess . . . then we went to pick up my niece Cassi . . . . and drop off my other niece Jessie at my other sisters house . . . while we were in Caldwell I stopped at Carl's Jr. You know . . . fast food is sooo slow today . . . . I ordered only 3 Crispy Spicy Chicken Sandwiches . . . I must have had to wait like 15 mins for them . . . . then we went to Wendy's to get something for the kids . . . we tried to order a baked potatoe . . . they didnt have any . . . then a side salad . . . . didnt have any of them either . . . . finally they just got fries . . . and a soda . . . . that was Ambers order . . . and Jr Cheeseburger and frosty for Cassi . . . Harley just got a Jr Cheeseburger . . . . on the way back home . . . when we got off the freeway we got pulled over by a cop . . . it sucked . . . but he was really nice . . . he said we were goin' to fast . . . but he just gave us a warning . . . and said to slow down . . . . anyways . . . . like I said he was kewl . . . . after that I was really tired . . . I slept all nite . . . then today . . . a friend of myne from work came over . . . I got him an account at Hotmail and Yahoo . . . . so he could have an e-mail address but also so he could use IM stuff . . . he dont know computers very well . . . . I also created a few profiles for him on various personals sites . . . . He wants to meet girls online from around here . . . anyways . . . I told him if he wants to be successful its gonna cost him some money . . . but makin' profiles was a first step . . . . he's thinkin' of gettin' a computer sumtime in the future . . . I wanted to go see Sin City yesterday . . . but was held over too late to catch the movie . . . I'll see it later on today . . . . anyways . . . after my friend Bobby left . . . I went to sleep for about 8 hrs . . . so from 1 to 9 roughly . . . I slept good today . . . then I got up and talked online with my buddie from Tahoe . . . Adam . . . . Hes kewl . . . . hes currently seein' this girl . . . her name is Brandi . . . she seem like a really nice girl . . . . anyways . . . the other nite I got a chance to chat with her . . . . and see her from her webcam . . . she seems to be a kewl girl . . . . then just earlier I got to say hi to Vicky . . . Alrighty . . . so Im sure everyone already knows about the Popes Death . . . he died yesterday . . . It seems to be a big deal . . . I guess he was a really great guy . . . Alright . . . so I got a couple of things to talk about today . . . In recent news . . . Yesterday . . . Terri Schiavo . . . she died yesterday . . . . I've already discussed this matter with a few ppl . . . my thoughts are . . . well first off Im glad its all over . . . Im glad that she has moved on to a better place . . . I don't really agree with the way she went though . . . I think its rather inhumane to have someone die by starvation . . . . without food or water . . . anyways moving on to better news . . . Google has done it again, GMail is now offering 2 Gigs of Mail . . . and its still free . . . . this doubles the capacity of the previous 1 Gig account . . . They are also adding many new features to their GMail account services . . . My thoughts . . . . 2 things really . . . . first off if they could double the 1 Gig account size . . . y do they have to keep the 10 Meg filesize cap on . . . why couldnt they increase it to 20 Megs . . . . second . . . i wonder how long they will be able to keep their services free . . . . sooner or later I could see them coming up with a pay service . . . just like everyone else does . . . . all these upgrades cost alot of money especially when you are on a scale as large as their customer base . . . . anyways . . . . for now . . . I'll continue to enjoy GMail for free . . . LOL . . . btw . . . I think Google is a great leader in invovation . . . . they offer many great services . . . . and continue to be inovative by offering new products and services . . . What a difference a few days can make . . .

Well I'll start off my tale of the last few days by starting on Saturday night . . . First off . . . when I went to work . . Julie . . . my co-worker . . . who will be quitting tomorrow . . . asked me if I would like to go to church sometime . . . I like an idiot said sure y not . . . Sunday morning of course being Easter . . . so I was basically convinced into goin' to church Sunday morning . . . . well that was ok . . but I really didnt want to go . . . I spent all night tryin' to figure out how was I goin' to get out of going to church Sunday morning . . . well at the end of the nght she gave me her phone number and told me to call her around 9 AM if I couldnt get a ride to church . . . I somehow lost her number before I even got home . . . so I figured its ok . . I'll just tell her I lost her number . . . and that I was sorry . . . but then around 9:15 AM . . . I get a call from her . . . saying that she sent someone out to pick me up . . . so she basically had gotten me a ride . . . . I told her politely as I could that I wasnt ready and had decided not to go . . . she didnt seem too upset . . but I feel bad that she went through all the trouble of getting me a ride when I didnt want to go . . . anyways . . . I thought it strange that she called me considering I never gave her my number . . . I think she got it from work . . . anyways . . thats kewl . . . well Sunday night I told her again that I was really sorry . . . I wasnt sorry so much for not goin' . . as I was for her goin' through all that trouble tryin' to get me a ride . . LOL . . . . anyways . . I can say this for her . . . . she at least asked me to go and even tried to get me a ride . . . which is more than anyone else has done for me since I moved up here . . . On to Sunday morning . . . . I slept in Sunday morning . . . and when I got up around 3 PM or so . . . My dad said he was goin' over to his Ex wifes house . . . and asked me if I wanted to go . . . I said sure . . . I need to get out more . . . . so we went over there . . and Chris(My Sister) and the kids(hers) where there . . . the kids got to do an Easter Egg hunt inside the house . . . it was kewl . . . I followed them around and picked up the eggs they left behind . . . but I tell you what for the most part they cleaned out the place . . . I got about a dozen eggs . . . and they had buckets full . . . LOL . . . . anyways . . . . then Monday . . . after work . . . I stayed up almost all day . . . my dad took us over to my other Sister's place . . . out in Caldwell . . . she needed to pick up some food . . . so we went around and got some . . . . I got to see my Sister(Teresa) for the first time since her birthday party . . . which was around the middle of Feb. . . . at the end of the day before coming back home we(Me, Dad, and Teresa) stopped at Wendy's . . . . I ordered a Baked Potato, 5 Pc chicken nuggets, and a side salad . . . Dad had 2 baked potatoes . . . and Teresa had a cheese burger and fries . . . . she was so happy . . . I was glad to see my sis happy . . . anyways . . . so when we got home I crashed . . . and I crashed hard . . . I got about 12 hrs of sleep then . . . and today I went over to visit my Sister Chris. She also came over to my house today . . . when she went to work she left the kids here w/ me . . . . they played on the computer . . . and then we watched American Idol . . . after that we had dinner . . . I cant believe I actually ate at the dining table . . . . anyways . . . after that some of us watched a movie and some of us were looking at pictures I had taken . . . Chris decided it was time for them to leave around 9:45 PM . . . after that I got on the computer . . . and here I am right now writing all of this down . . . this has gotten very long . . . so I'll end now . . . . come back and read more on the adventures of Dave and his family . . if you want to . . . Major Update Time . . .

Ok, so here is whats new . . . On American Idol, Mikalah Gordon just got voted off . . the poor girl . . she took it really well though . . . Next Tuesday is the next performance . . . All of my favorites are still in the game . . . Carrie, Bo, Constantine, Scott . . . its gonna be hard to choose when it gets down to the finals . . . Simon was quoted as predicting that Carrie would win and sell more records than any previous Idol . . . In other news . . . Fox is bringin' back on of my favorite shows . . . Tru Calling will be back on next week . . . . LOL . . . . lets see but thats not all . . . for anyone out there that knows me . . . I cleaned off my bed . . . LOL . . . Its nice to have a bed . . . that I can actually sleep in . . . LOL . . . now the mess is all over the rest of my room . . but at least I have a bed . . . now I have to try and clean the rest of my room . . . . hey check out this kewl site I found . . . its called 43 Things . . . . oh and in other news . . . I met this girl . . . her name is Natalie . . . shes really kewl . . . . I only have known her for about a week or so now . . but shes alot of fun . . . Julie is quitting next week . . . so is Jason . . . and Andrea is going to be moving to the cash office . . . . this all sucks . . . . we are supposed to get 3 new ppl . . . Time to post an update . . .

For anyone that reads this . . . sorry I havent written anything new in awhile . . . I started using this kewl P2P radio application called Mercora . . . its really kewl . . . I would recommend it to anyone that likes P2P . . . anyways . . . Last Saturday was interesting to say the least . . . I was late for work . . . but that was not the worst part . . . I got stopped by the cops on my way to work . . . appearantly the alarm up front at the cigarette store went off . . . so they were looking for anyone suspicious . . . I guess I fit that description . . . I explained to the officer that I was just going to work and was running late . . . he asked if I had anything on me . . and if he could check me . . . I said I had nothing then remembered I had my box knife for work . . . I told him that and he let me go . . . American Idol is on 3 times a week now . . . Monday the guys sing . . . Tuesday the girls sing . . . and Wednesday is Elimination day . . . its a really good competition this time around . . . they have alot of good talent . . . . Donald Trump fired another person on Thursday . . . poor girl didnt wanna fess up that she had totally blew the advertisement for PlayStation . . . .they were trying to make a commerical like mural for Gran Turismo 4 . . . . Last nite sucked at work . . . we had 14 pallets of grocery . . . and only 5 people . . . . on top of that . . . maintenance was waxing the floor . . . . which just put us way behind . . . oh well . . . we got through it . . . . however I find it interesting that the new assistant manager seems to think that she is reasonable . . . considering . . . the nite b4 we had 6 ppl and only 12 boards and barely got out on time . . . and yesterday . . . we got some help when it was time to zone . . . or else I dont think we would have gotten out on time . . . . Tonite is gonna suck . . . I have to do aisle 6 tonite . . . all cans . . . . oh well . . . at least I only have to do them 2 times a week now . . . and not all week . . . well . . . Happy B-Day to Me . . . .

Well after last week being a week I'd rather forget at work . . . . Saturday nite was terrible . . . we had 5 people working and 20 pallets of freight . . . thats just insane . . . . it was, however, Garys first nite . . . . Kelly, Bobby and Jason all had the nite off . . . which is where the nitemare began . . . . We all(the whole grocery crew) decided to work together that nite . . . . I was really impressed that Gary got us help . . . it was his first nite workin' overnites . . . . I actually saw him throwing freight which is more than i can say for most managers . . . . I have a great deal of respect for him . . . Sunday nite we had 24 boards . . . . however . . . we did get alot of features in . . . so it wasnt as bad as the nite before . . . also we had 1 extra person . . . . well my birthday this year was on Superbowl Sunday . . . . I didnt do very much though . . . slept most of the day . . . well I finally got one . . . I''ve been waitin' for almost a year . . . or since GMail started beta testing . . . . to get a GMail account . . . now I have one . . . thanks to John . . . what a guy . . . hes great . . . .

So Much to Write . . . .

Hey everyone . . . its been awhile since my last post . . . so let me catch you all up to date . . . I'll start by explainin' what happed at work last week . . . well Sergio done it . . . he pissed me off . . . I blew up at him on the sales floor . . . I told him "Why do you have to be such an Asshole to everybody?" to which he replied "It's my job." What an ass . . . . I had it with that guy . . . I had to go to management and explain what was goin' on . . . unfortunately I feel like she listened to me . . . but cant really do much about the Sergio situation . . . . oh well . . . we'll see what happens . . . . if nothing else . . . I'll transfer out to a different department . . . . well Microsoft did something good about a week or so ago . . . The acquired Giant . . . so now Microsoft is offering Anti-Spyware Beta for free . . . its the same thing Giant used to be but is free for now anyways . . . I'be been using it . . . . and really its an awesome product . . . . I surely hope they keep it free . . . . I saw Elektra the other day . . . when it first came out . . . day one . . . . first show . . . . I always did like to be first to see a new movie . . . . it was a pretty good turn out for around here too . . . usually when I go see a movie . . . not many ppl but me there . . . but Elektra had quite a few ppl at the first show . . . Season 3 of the Apprentice has begun . . . Donald Trump has already fired one of the applicants for the job . . . . LOL . . . . you know I find 3 things funny about that . . . first, I find it funny how the format for this season is . . . being High School Diplomas aka Street Marts vs College Grads with Degrees aka Book Smarts . . . second is a fact he stated when the show started . . . . The Streets Smarts groups' net worth is worth 3 times that of the Book Smarts group . . . LOL . . . and lastly . . . the Book Smarts were the first to lose and have to have a member of the team cut . . . Last nite at work had to be the nite from hell . . . we didnt get started throwin' freight until around 1 AM . . . an hr later than usual . . . and Segio couldnt do much besides bring out backstock that we didnt even need . . . what a worthless waist . . . to top that off . . . the end of the nite sucked . . . I got my damn toe ran over by a pallet jack . . . hurt like a mofo . . . Only 1 other thing on my list of things to talk about in this blog . . . and that is the US Ice Skating Nationals . . . Michelle Kwan took the gold . . . and set alot of records there . . . in Portland OR, about a week ago . . . nice performance if I do say so myself . . . . and Sasha Cohen . . . she took silver . . . and was spectacular as well . . . . but I must say . . . I think I have a new favorite . . . at only 15 this girl . . . Kimmie Meissner . . . shows wonderful raw talent . . . . she is simply amazing . . . . i see a wonderful future in store for her . . . many gold medals to come in the future . . . well . . . . Second Post of the New Year . . .

How the hell are you everyone??? This is only my second post of the year . . . I'm doing great . . . the only thing that bothers me so far this year is the slightly disturbin' fact that my brother was harassin' some of my friends online the other day . . . I haven't gotten a chance to find out what was goin' on yet . . . I work tonite so I'll probably catch up with him tomorrow sometime . . . in any case I want to find out what the heck was goin' on . . . anyways . . . I had the last two days off from work . . so I've been home workin' on my computer . . . I downloaded and installed Fedora Core 3 on a spare 20 Gig HD that I have . . . I spent the last day or so configuring the thing to work . . . there are still a couple of things I would like to get working . . . for one . . . I would like to learn how to get PC games working on it . . . the other thing . . . right now I'm hardwired into the network . . . I need to learn how to set up my WiFi . . . but other than that . . . I've got all my web browsers work in' . . . Mozilla, Firefox, Opera, and even Konqueror . . .I got Flash installed, Java, and even a movie player plugin installed . . . I have Yahoo Messenger configured and working . . . only thing . . . I need to check and see if I can burn CDs . . . and watch DVD movies . . . haven't had time to check those yet . . . anyways . . . I have to get ready for work soon . . . Well 2004 is finally behind us all . . . Thank God . . . I can't really recall any good that came out of 2004 . . . hell the year even ended in tragedy . . . 120,000 ppl die from a tsunami . . . that really sucked . . .
